Fire Warden with Staged Live Fire and Evacuation
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course covers the essential knowledge that is needed for this role. This training covers the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations (as amended) 1997 and the Fire Precautions Act 1971. It requires an employer to assess the suitability of measures currently in place to protect people from the risk of fire.
The course also involves a “live” fire and evacuation (not including residents) of the building following clients fire drill procedures.
The employer is required by law to provide suitable training for those members of staff who are responsible for assisting in the fire evacuation procedure in the workplace.
