This course covers the transmission of HIV and Social Implications which will enable participants to explore personal and professional issues.

• HIV/AIDS – the basics – establishing the facts and dispelling myths concerning the difference between HIV and AIDS, the HIV antibody test
• Discuss and develop awareness on the effects of HIV and AIDS
• Consider attitudes and prejudices which may affect practice
• Developing a resource pack of information
