COSHH Awareness (E-learning Course)

Course Overview

This module is aimed at all staff that may come into contact on a regular basis with hazardous substances and will help you to understand the dangers associated with hazardous substances, their potential for causing injury, ill health and damage and the means for protecting themselves and others. This includes the storage, use and health complications from the incorrect use of hazardous substances and the importance of understanding the chemicals that you may encounter.
COSHH Regulations require that staff receive the appropriate information, instruction, and training in the handling of hazardous substances, in this module.

Upon completion of this module, learners will have an increased understanding of what hazardous substances are, and how to store, use and protect themselves and others.

The course contains assessment questions throughout the module.
