Food Hygiene Level 1 (E-learning Course)
Course Overview
This module aims to teach basic Food Hygiene safety to those who work in the catering and hospitality industry and all other places where non-high risk, foods are prepared and handled for public consumption.
Learners will learn what food hygiene is, key legislations, preparation, storage, and safe handling of foods. The requirements around chilling, cross-contamination, spillage and keeping records.
Upon completing this module, learners will have increased knowledge and understanding of the importance of safe storage, preparation of non-high risk, foods, handling, cleaning, wearing of PPE, and recording temperatures whilst in food preparation areas.
The course contains assessment questions throughout the module.
