COURSE OVERVIEW
This course offers an introduction to the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberties and how they impact on individuals working environments.
The course looks at good practice and how to identify strategies to ensure this law, along with Human Rights and Equality and Diversity can be fully integrated into all decision making and Care Planning.
Learning methods include small and large group work, debates, scenarios and handouts. It is a very interactive course providing information for students to take back to the workplace.
