COURSE OVERVIEW

For Participants to have an awareness of how to identify the functions of a behaviour and it’s reinforces and how Positive Behavioural Support approaches can help to minimise dysfunctional behaviours whilst teaching and encouraging more appropriate behaviours in a positive and proactive manner.

• Demonstrate use of ABC monitoring forms
• Identify reinforcers of Behaviour
• Explain ways of supporting people to interact with their environment in an appropriate way
