Safeguarding Children

COURSE OVERVIEW

This one-day course aims to give staff the tools to identify/recognise child abuse and what action to take. It will also teach knowledge and recognition of signs and indicators of abuse; how to refer to your designated person. There is now a requirement for all staff working with Children & Young People to undertake training every 3 years.

It is important for anyone who works in childcare settings to recognise the importance of working in a coordinated manner in relation to child protection issues.
